When is the Peacemaking Offering received and how are the funds shared? The Peacemaking Offering is one of the special offerings of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and it is received on World Communion Sunday, the first Sunday in October of each year. A portion of the Peacemaking Offering is retained by the congregation, and the remainder is shared among presbyteries, the synod and General Assembly. The generous gifts of our congregations are used to encourage and enable peacemaking mission and study throughout the Presbyterian Church.
