Congratulations to the Presbyteries of Detroit and Scioto Valley, both of whom have joined the Presbyterian Church (USA)’s Vital Congregations Initiative. Strengthening Congregational Vitality, along with Eradicating Systemic Poverty and Dismantling Structural Racism, are the three foci of the Matthew 25 initiative.  The Synod’s ministries seek to support churches and presbyteries in these same ministry goals.
