Teaching Elder Sharon Moore (pictured right) is the new Stated Clerk of the Synod of the Covenant. An energetic native of Detroit, MI, Sharon is a passionate social justice advocate with more than 20 years of legal and litigation experience. As a lifelong member of St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Detroit Presbytery, Sharon is grateful for every opportunity to move “faith-first” into issues, challenges, and endeavors. Heather Johnston (pictured left with husband Andy and son Eli) began working as office manager in early October. She recently graduated from San Francisco Theological Seminary and is on the PC(USA) ordination track. Heather is a Californian, but moved to Michigan during the pandemic with her husband, son, and 2 fur children. She enjoys working on the sidelines providing essential administrative skills to support her work places and volunteer passions. Click here for Heather’s biography.
