Merry Christmas from your Synod Staff!

As 2020 comes to a close, we are so grateful to share ministry with you. We are inspired by your faithfulness, persistence, and joy, even in the middle of a pandemic.  In this season when we remember that Jesus is God-with-us, Immanuel, you are a sign of his promise to be with us always, even to the ends of the age.

We pray that your Christmas will be filled with the joy of the Christ child, and that your New Year finds surprising ways for you to join God in the transformation of the world, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“The angel said, ‘Don’t be afraid. I’m here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide. A Savior has just been born in David’s town, a Savior who is Messiah and Lord.  This is what you’re to look for:  a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger.’”

–Luke 2:11-13, the Message (alt.)
