Presbyterian Polity, or the way that we Presbyterians organize ourselves in order to do ministry that transforms the world in the name of Jesus Christ, springs from the Book of Order. If you would like to gain more understanding of this important topic, the Methodist Theological Seminary in Ohio is offering “Presbyterian Polity and Administration” for its PCUSA students. It will be held Thursdays 8:30 to 10:00 am between Feb 3 and May 19, and be taught by Synod Interim Executive Chip Hardwick. It is a 3 credit masters level class, and can be audited for $200 (or $75 for students over 60). To learn more or register, email Dr. Lis Boyer at eboyer@mtso.edu or Chip at chip@synodofthecovenant.org.
