COVID Emergency Need Grant

INSTRUCTIONS

Applications may be submitted until 12/4/20. Applications and all requested materials and endorsement letter from pastor or moderator/clerk of session must be submitted together to receive consideration by the scholarship committee. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered nor will they be carried forward automatically. Grants will be sent to the church of membership of the applicant, with the expectation that the church will forward the full amount of the grant to the scholarship recipient.

All applications must be accompanied by: 

  1. Letter from institution for verification of enrollment, if not submitted with a prior application for the 2020-21 academic year.
  2. A fully completed COVID Emergency Need Grant application form.
  3. Endorsement letter from the student’s pastor or clerk of session, emailed directly to grants@synodofthecovenant.org. (Download an example request form here.)
